Freedom , At What Cost. ..

When they wanted to be free, 

They were CIVILISED, not scary, 

They were in their sense,  

Asking for 'SAWARAJ' makes everyone tense. 

They got the LIGHT, 

But they used it to a fight,  

They warmth their hands by destroying other 's shelter,  

And for them, they were protectors. 

Why did they make others abandon their innocent ones, 

 They failed in balancing the pros and cons. 

They got freedom, but at what cost?

In every situation, the common man was at a great loss, 

Some became leaders, 

Some became hosts,  

And we became sufferers of fate, 

Why do they flourish with immense hate?

People who were once companions Are Now not ready for any kind of union. 

  

So, they got freedom, but at what cost.

Everyone crossed the limits of humanity, 

For the sake of freedom, 

We got so much enmity. 

Things have settled, 

But feelings got painfully vanished, happiness disappeared,  everything got vague and friendship between the two countries still perished. 

So, they got freedom, but at what cost, 

In any case, many emotions have been lost, 

Emotions have been lost.
