Her Fault

That was a home

Filled with hate,

Walls were decorated with blames,

Windows bled with defaming,

She hid behind the curtain of shame,

What was her fault?

Her life came to halt!

Why did she go through assault?

Was it her face or her skin?

How can she trust her kin?

She was burned alive,

With criticism, she couldn't survive!

No matter what, they were quiet

And she too was hushed to be silent!
