I Wish I Wasn't a Human...

When responsibilities surround,

I wish I wasn't a human.

When obstacles are around,

I wish I wasn't a human.

When life seems a long run, 

I wish I wasn't a human.

When I learn that sacrifice is essential,

I wish I wasn't a human.

When I learn that comforts are to be given up,

I wish I wasn't a human.

Every difficult stage of life makes me say,

I wish I wasn't a human. 

But now I have realized that hardships help me develop my potential,

They help tame our mind which can sometimes be excessively rational.

Fruits of struggle are always unripe,

They lend you ample experiences of each and every type.

These experiences actually make your life,

Though, one has to tolerate varied people and continue to strive.

Realization of this has made me think,

Being a human isn't that bad after all.
