Isn't You
Isn't You
When summer was in town
I sent a message to the cloud
I hope you have found
Music to my sound
I've been waiting for a long time
To ask you for a dance night
Too afraid to look up
Cuz you are too bright
I gather my courage
To become a savage
To express myself
All the things I manage
It's not cool, I tell myself
Having second thoughts?
Change my way rather
I challenge myself
Then I see you the next day
Lost in your own thoughts
Curling lips and biting nails
I think it's the only spot
I write a poem,
Love and emblem
Slide a book towards you
But, then I realise
The person I'm looking at isn't you
