Loss Of Love

The love we had was a fragile thing,

A delicate flower that needed tending,

We watered it with our tears and laughter,

But it withered away, just like a chapter.

Now all that's left is a sad refrain,

A melody of memories, filled with pain,

We try to forget, we try to move on,

But the echoes of our love linger on.

The nights are long and the days are cold,

As we struggle to fill the void, so bold,

We search for meaning, we search for hope,

But all we find is an endless slope.

The tears we shed are like a river,

A constant flow that makes us shiver,

We try to hold on to what we had,

But the love we knew has turned to sad.

And so we mourn the loss of love,
