The Lonely Path Of A Girl
The Lonely Path Of A Girl
I tread the path strewn with pebbles
The boulders have been sitting on the sides for millions of years
Waiting for some philosophers and rebels
To sit on them and brood about the world and their fears.
I am alone on this path but not lonesome
The dark clouds yonder keep my company
So many times on this path I have come
Surroundings are beautiful like the world of Disney.
I am not afraid
I don’t look back
The trees along the path give me shade
For the company in my journey is this beautiful track.
Books with beautiful words are my daily companion
Knowledge unravels with the words of teacher
The written word has its own attraction
But for that you have delve in books deeper.
A few moments I spent on this lonely but beautiful trail
Puts me in mood to learn
And a feeling that I am not frail
Still between good and bad I have to discern.
The life beckons me to move on
There are many worlds to conquer
It is still dawn
As I grow I will find my anchor.
Howsoever lovely may be trail
One may stop for a while to appreciate the beauty
But the journey has to continue without fail
Finding the meaning of existence is a duty.
