Mismatch
Mismatch
He was a fat and old
She was pretty and bold
He was smart and funny
She was a bright young honey
Met on a Facebook chat
And soon after that
In a few weeks flat
He was head over heels
Can’t blame how he feels
As she was hot and witty
She was sweet to him
Perhaps on a whim
So it was a real pity
That there was nothing they could do
For though she liked him too
The years were far too much
For their lives to touch
Beyond the coffee and beer
And the friendly cheer
Few stolen kisses and cuddles
Life gets into muddles
Wonder where this goes
But let’s forget such woes
And enjoy this mad run
Life’s meant to be fun
