Pleading Sorrow
Pleading Sorrow
Growing pollution everywhere,
Contaminated water, polluted air.
We fulfill our greeds,
But do we hear what the environment pleads?
Trees and animals are dying fast,
Plant trees before humans chop the last.
Water is a priceless resource,
But day and night it washes off the shores.
Land is degrading by and by.
And all we care is only about ‘I’?
No, the world should protest,
Earth is our mother; it presumes us to protect.
Let’s all meet her expectation,
Plant a tree every person of a nation.
‘Green Earth’ is the new revolution,
Everyone contributes to this motion.
Reuse, reduce and recycle,
To lessen air pollution, use a bicycle.
Walking keeps you as well as the environment healthy,
It is the true way to be wealthy.
Use cotton and jute bags,
Make new things out of rags.
Segregating wastes works like magic,
Start segregating before Earth’s conditions become tragic.
Stop washing clothes in lakes,
Every person should be awake.
Do not waste water and reuse it,
Everybody contributes his bit.
Help in making the Earth clean,
Plant a tree and make it green. :)
