Sketch you Green

The Overlord looked at Nature,

Looked at her mighty Sheen.

“Let’s make you look a little fresh,” They said,

“And sketch you Green.”

They put up the canvas and started to paint,

All the tinges, shades and tints.

Dark or Pale or Sap or Fern,

Olive or Forest or Hunter or Mint.

Dipped the brush in Sage or Ever,

Maybe just a Bright Tea.

And for the ferocious water?

Oh, let it be Bright Sea.

She thanked Them with all her heart

Her face bright and beautiful lime

When they finished, She looked at her dress

And smiled at the hints of Pine.
