Stalking

Stalking isn’t cool.

Stalking sucks,

Stalking is for cowards.

Stop stalking, 

Start caring,

There is a fine line between serendipity and stalking,

It’s a fine line between love and stalking,

Love without evidence is stalking,

Stalking is a serious crime with serious consequences.

Stalking is a cruel and incessant crime with often terrifying consequences, Victims can be tormented for years,

Left too scared to leave their homes,

And unnerved by the slightest unexpected sound.

Stalking is a crime that can paralyze an otherwise productive person with fear,

Stalking can have devastating consequences,

I’ve learned that you can’t make someone love you,

All you can do is stalk them and hope they’ll panic and give in.

I call it viewing from afar,

They call it stalking,

I’ve successfully lobbied and testified; for stalking laws in several states,

But I would trade them all for a high; school class that would teach young men how to hear “no,”

And teach young women that it’s all right to explicitly reject.

The Internet is great for things,

Like finding the answers to things you,

Pretended to know or stalking people,

Are you stalking me, Mr Fulton?

The idea both amused and horrified Jazz,

Over 13 per cent of women in college have reported being a victim of stalking during the school year,

And one out of every five college women has reported being sexually assaulted,

It is simple to talk about statistics,

It is more difficult to remember that,

Each number is a victim and represents a daughter, a sister or a friend.
