Standing Up

The girl who wasn't born yet,

Saw her enemies killing her, helplessly!!

The girl who just started babbling,

Saw her enemies abuse her, helplessly!!

The girl who just started walking,

Saw her enemies rape her, helplessly!!

Are we weak? Why can't we speak up?

Why are we helpless in a country of brave hearts?

We are the girls of a brave nation.

But still, we need someone who starts!

Why don't 'I' start, and bring about the change?

And that 'I' could be you, my friend!

When wrong doesn't care about age and gender,

Why do we being right fear to defend?
