Taming the Wild

Life is all about taming the wild,

                Let us make our ego-less mild.

               Men used " Jallikattu" to take control,

          Mind you, holding the bull by its horns was their solitary goal.

They laid down their lives on the anvil,

         The fight for a cause was their only will.

        Whether to hold it by its tail,

                   Or to get tossed around on its bail.

It was for the warrior to decide,

                It was in these hearts that bravery did reside.

   Symbolically the game told one to control one's ego,

 So much in that, it was the toughest to forego.
