The Battle Field

The Battle Field

Packing things up, the country needs me on duty right away.

Sorry, I can't stay a little longer maybe some other day.

Dear parents, wife, husband and child take care.

It is just a battle, don't store room for nightmare.

I know I may not return, but have faith.

We the army have no room to bother death.

Few moments before the battle begins, I remember my country.

I think of setting the trapped patriots free.

The time the deadly battle begins, my nerves wrecks and my ears shatter by the loudest noise of the canon.

The smoke from the gun, canon and the fire hides the sun.

I think of my country.

We know people can't live without oxygen and plants, in this case we are the tree.

Our heart goes to the highest rate possible whenever the opponent troop points the big arms on me, but I think about my country.

Victory is our fee.

The thick smoke surrounds us and changes the colour of the scenario of the battle field.

Our anxious heart is forced to fight and use our bravery.

I just think about my country.

My soldier friends succumb to their wounds, I see thousands of dying men with my bare eyes, but still I can't give up.

I think of my country, I get sudden hiccup.

My country is my family at the moment, I can't distract myself from the battle.

I have to be strong I am not accessed to become rattled.

The battle field is puddled with blood and I am wounded by the gunshot.

But then I look at the medals and batches I got.

I just think of my country and it's flag stitched on my uniform.

I am bound to save it's dignity as per my norm.

I can't let my country accept defeat after fighting the battle, I have to give my best and if possible then my life.

I am ought to sacrifice my luxury including my parents, children and my dearest wife.

I am not petrified of the canon, your dad is brave son.

We are soon approaching victory, prepare for a celebration.

I promise to let my trapped friends let free.

Don't worry dear, I may or may not see you again but remember that I was succumbed to MY COUNTRY...
