The Human That I Adore
The Human That I Adore
There he is.
The human that I adore.
The one that's dashed into my heart,
And shattered its door.
I look at him, and I see raw poetry.
All the twinkle of the stars, all the freedom of the wind, that is what I see.
How could I not write about him?
He has lit up a corner in my heart, which was long left dim.
I can help not but hate everything he doesn't like.
He makes my heart go high, up above the clouds, on a hike.
If he says the right is the left,
Then left it is.
Let him at least ask for a piece,
I'd say all my soul was his.
How can I ever look away?
From eyes so charming, my soul they sway.
He doesn't say a word.
But I can't put into words everything I still heard.
I could look at him, for a day, a week, a month, a year, yet still want more.
There he is.
The human that I adore.
