The Infamous Colonel
The Infamous Colonel
The bounty of the archaic hoodlum,
To the cat’s paws hushed by the affairs of terror;
The times that forfeited young man dreamt would come,
The first battle and Adolf’s rage slipped into bedlam by error.
Soldiers, all in the aviary of trenches and combat,
Ghettos and gas chambers, national divisions were to arrive at;
The potential of speeches and confluence all in applauds,
Oh! Could that be the rise of Hitler? Feared the lords.
Piecemeal stages and control all in a shot,
Entourage of Aryans and Jews all in terrible rapports;
The fever of Nazism, all that was taught,
Deep under the rock lived the hospice thoughts!
Perforations in the newborn system, as well a trump card,
Confreres and communists are all broken into scraps and shreds;
Could the diffident public show little regard?
Would the Holocaust outlive for disgrace spreads?
Alas! Once upon a time, Germans hailed the infamous colonel.
