The Insidious Virus
The Insidious Virus
It was all just a blur to me,
When the insidious virus continue to flee
Leaving behind the people it destroyed,
Bringing everyone close to deploy
But I recall the day
When our freedom was taken away
The virus had taken over everything
Thus the government started abolishing
It was like a home arrest to me
I never imagined that something like this could ever be
There was a time when panic swelled within me
But I had to calm myself down
And was forced to look around
It was not easy to live like this
But I was hopeful in the end
It will all be finished with the sign of bliss
Making everything normal and blend
But we could never forget
The people who died
And the ones who cried
The children who lost everything they had
The parents who never got the time to love their lad
When it all ends
It will never be the same
But we will never let
The sacrifice go in vain
