The Poem Of Seven Sins
The Poem Of Seven Sins
For those who don't know there are seven sins in all,
Each has a special trait, each decides our fall,
Envy is the first, the sin of the soul,
called as such for its treacherous control,
The second one is close but different yet indeed,
Wrath it is called for its the destroyer of peace,
And then we come to third, the thorn in the bush,
Pride it is called, to vex someone it is this button you push,
And then comes the fourth, Greed it is known,
It'll make you want and want, and want some more,
The fifth is a craving, an animalistic desire!
For Lust it is called, it'll set your heart on fire,
The sixth is a sin that everyone enjoys, Gultony it is called,
Be careful of its nature, be careful of its falls,
The seventh one is Sloth, the sin that humans crave,
The desire to do nothing, the desire to waste life away,
So now you know the sins, the evil within us,
But sometimes I wonder, what if the sins were just names given to our behaviors,
By our ancestors to Us!
