The Spare Part
The Spare Part
I wish I could be that fool
As you want me to be;
I wish I could be that hypocrite
As it would be better to be.
I may not have traveled through
The untrodden path,
I may not have dreamt about
The hilly montage.
The flashes of the dreams
That never came true,
The full moon night together
We never spent through,
Haunt me now.
The promise which once made
Makes the emotional fool keep to beg.
The meaning of being together
Was never there;
Everything was always on the edge
Who cares?
The fight for uncertainty is still going on
On the verge of solitude a mirage
Still befools your moron.
But who cares?
I still wish to be a character
In the drama, you perform,
But I'm just a spare part of
The backstage meant to deform
One day, for sure.
