Those damned good hearts
Those damned good hearts
The sky bled in violet
Pink clouds discoloured
As they bandaged to cosset
Unhealed secrets, the hurt murmured
Galaxy as big and old as time
Yet benevolent hearts not so wise
Still the sky and those hearts related
for to understand each other, that silence is all that was needed
An eerie serene feeling in the heart
Because it understood that ache
Of being so beautiful yet broken apart
What we can’t have, we shall put to stake
What we don’t have, we shall break
