Two Feet Apart

With a dead soul inside them,

Our bodies have started walking again.

With a worried mind inside them;

Our bodies have left the past awhile,

Like two young birds leaving their nest behind..

No! we aren’t zombies?

We are just two broken humans with dead conscience;

Seeking our path to heaven, like it exists,

And if it does, then this passage, we mustn’t resist..

Ah! The sun has come up;

The flowers have started blooming.

Is this the beginning of a new world?

I suppose..

Cause the flowers along the path are angelic and pearled,

And the butterflies among them are dancing through her hair.

Have we been on this road before?

Oh! yes.. we have..

Have we walked together before?

Sigh.. we have

Then how is this any different than before?

Well this time..

We are walking on the path of uncertainty, and furthermore,

We are two feet apart..
