A Boy's Bravery

It was a day when a man was standing under a tree and watching a house, many people came and went by that road and saw him standing under a tree but no one knew his intention behind this.

People thought differently, one man thought he was standing and waiting for someone and another man thought he was looking at nature and other thought different. On day 2 he was standing at that place only and watching that house, then a boy of about 10 year of age came playing his football and asked that man"To whom you are looking at? " but he gave no answer to that boy and said "Boy go away from here," but that boy did not go and shouted after seeing that the man had a revolver, "Police.., police.... he has a revolver", then that man tried to escape but people caught him and called the police and police asked him what was he trying to do? The man said ,"I had a plan to rob all the money of that family and if not then kill them".

After knowing this those two men who did not know his intention were thinking that what if that boy had not called the police, what would have happened ?
