Diwali is nearing, and Meena started preparing the grocery items list for making namkeens and sweets. Her three children came with a big list of items they needed, like new clothes and crackers. The children also wanted to invite their friends home for Diwali.

Meena's husband Ramu made a mental calculation to ensure everything their children and wife needed fell under his budget.

Then Ramu and his three children went to the nearby town to purchase items for Diwali, while Meena stayed back at home, getting engrossed in Diwali cleaning. Their house is located in a village with a pleasant background of valleys and mountains.

Ramu and the children came home late and tired after finishing their Diwali purchases. The next day was Diwali, so Meena asked her husband to sleep early so that they would be ready for the festival Pooja in the morning. The next day, Meena woke up earlier than usual and started preparing sweets. Later, the children and Ramu woke up, had an oil bath, wore new clothes, and the celebration began.

In the evening, Meena lit up many diyas and arranged them in rows, making the house look beautiful. Later, Ramu gave a small bag to Meena, and she was excited to find a beautiful Kanchipuram saree inside. Ramu told Meena to drape the new saree and join the celebration. When Meena came back, Ramu told her that she looked as pretty as ever.

Then Ramu expressed his gratitude to Meena on this auspicious day for taking care of the house, children, and him so well. Meena blushed, and Ramu could see his wife's face glowing in the light of the crackers. Meena, Ramu, and the children had a great Diwali this year.
