Adventurous Friends! (Part 1)

Once upon a time, in a newly built city lived 5 best friends Anna, Grace, Luna, John and Robert. They lived in a well-furnished apartment. They were grown-ups and had come from their village to study in the college and also for a very important mission. They were called 'Adventurous Friends.' Do you know why? Come let me tell you the story of these grown-ups!

Flashback starts!

When they were ten years old, they were walking back to their house as they had come to play in the garden. It was 7:00 pm at that time. Suddenly, they came across a creepy forest. There was not even a single bird or animal. They had heard some stories or maybe just rumours that there was a ghost roaming around in the forest area. And so, it was also called 'The Abandoned Forest.' No one went inside the forest after 6:00 pm. All the villagers went inside the forest in the afternoon or morning and completed their work as soon as possible. The people of the village said that if anyone goes there after 6:00 pm then he/she would never return. But, these best friends were so fearless that they had the ability to go inside and prove to the villagers that there is nothing called as 'Ghost.' They went inside wandering through the dark and dense forest. The trees and bushes were now getting thicker and thicker. There was hardly any light they could see. But luckily, they had bought torches from their home so Grace, John and Luna took and switched them on. Now, they were able to see the forest clearly. Anna said, "Hey guys! I think that the villagers are really very scared and afraid to go inside the forest, but there's nothing here as they had thought. We should go back home now. I'm already very much tired after walking for two hours. It's 9:00 pm! We need to hurry; our parents must have been worried for us." "Yes Anna, you're right. We should go back home!" Replied everyone.

They turned back and started walking in the same direction from where they had come. They walked and walked and walked. But to their surprise, they came back to the same place as before! They tried once again but now also they came back to the same place. Little did they know that once someone enters the forest after 6:00 pm he/she can never ever return to their respective homes again! Now, it was 10:00 pm! They thought in their minds that 'This appears to be a very mysterious forest. And I'm sure that there might be a mysterious and thrilling story as well. But to know about that, I must discuss it with my friends.' All of them get really tired and find some nice place to sit. They find a huge tree and sit below it. They start discussing how to get back to their homes, how they can know about the mysterious story and so on... After talking and discussing for an hour, they slowly sleep on the dried leaves fallen on the ground. It was 11:00 pm! They didn't know that today was a no moon night. 

You all must have heard some stories from your grandparents/parents that all the ghosts appear on the no moon night. So this is what happens with them too! They all sleep soundly. But then comes the toughest time! It's 12:00 am! All the friends hear weird and eerie noises; they have bad and dangerous dreams. They see themselves hanging on a tree where an evil power has hung them upside down. They all woke up from their sleep in a frightening way! All of them are sweating continuously. They are sitting steady as if they are statues. They cannot even speak anything. After half an hour, they try to relax and speak about their dream. Luna says quickly, "Hey! I've got such a bad and dangerous dream you can't even think of it. I was hanging on a tree upside down. Also, beside me was sitting a ghost looking and smiling at me in a creepy way." All say together, "I also saw the same dream. How is it even possible?" 

"There is something suspicious about this forest. I think what the villagers said was all true." Said, John. "Hey, how can you even say that? It means that we will never return back to our homes or what?? I'm really very much scared as well as confused!" Replied Luna annoyingly. She was really very irritated by all this forest stuff, mystery and so on..
