Dormant India

Most country's inhabitants across the world say, " India is a poor country". Evan spiegel -the Snapchat CEO commented back in 2016, "Snapchat isn't for the poor country like India ". Well, many more people across abroad have commented on this we must be aware of. But India has proven to be rich in its culture and heritage which is often appreciated by people across the world. Not only in culture and heritage, but our country has bestowed in science and innovations too. During the ongoing pandemic, our country has sent covid vaccines to many countries. Those countries we have helped may have been ridiculed us in the past but still, we helped them tenderly. 

Now see, in India, Odisha is considered to be a poor state (stated by most liberals). I doubt they take Odisha as a part of the India map or not. Odisha had been ravaged by many calamities in the past. In the national news, they didn't mention anything regarding these and pretend as if everything is fine in our country. The National news hardly gives coverage about Odisha. All those half-wits only care for TRP on their channels. But Odisha has proven that it has the potential to outshine and tackle every mess on its way. During the second wave of the covid-19, our country was the worst-hit country and was showing a distress call. Odisha (which they won't consider a part of the country) helped the worst affected states like Maharashtra, New Delhi with medical oxygen. You know the best part!! Odisha has built medical oxygen plants across many districts and is prepared for the third wave if it shows. The medical oxygen will be also transported to other cities of the states. But the harsh part is the national news will not even give credit to them. 

The rest of the country doesn't even accept the people from the Northeastern states. They have always been discriminated against for their looks. But now those people have represented India in the Olympics. We are giving now them credit but before that, we were commenting on them with silly names like ' chinky', 'china', and 'corona'. These prove we are hypocrites. 

Well, talking about the Olympics, Odisha has been sponsoring both men and women hockey teams when the government gave up on them and reduced the sports budget. Due to the support of Odisha, they could represent our country at an extreme level. But sadly the National media won't give Odisha and its chief minister ' Shri Naveen Patnaik ' the credit. 

Ironically, those who we call ' poor' are 'rich' in their hearts and they can outshine in every field. And most importantly we should never underestimate the potential of someone. The one who appears to be dorky is actually in a dormant state and can perform a work that others are hesitant to perform. It.
