My mind went blank. I always thought I got this branch only because I couldn't make it to the Biotech engineering, which I completed by now.

All thanks to my mentor who succeeded vastly by making me publish more than 40 papers a year that I lost count of the titles not abstracts. The reason of being so hardworking, dedicated and fully committed is my gut instinct "Never Settle", I smiled as it happened literally in the personal life not professional thankfully.

I kept setting my schedule so tight that I ate by the incubator, burnt the cotton in Laminar Air Flow Chamber breaking my own streaking and spinned up and down the stairs at 1000X RPM, what I was regaining my glow- and magically my hair - God knows it had been more than 2 decades that I saw my tresses grow like a bush.

I think there's going to be an important innovation in the artificial womb synthesis if the setting is optimal. Eugenetics is going to be the go-to buzz word for choosing mates. Fish was used to identify the diseased part of any gene & replace it with proper viral, bacterial or human vector invivo sometimes exvivo to stop the degeneration of cells in many diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or knockout the disease causing gene or suppress the gene; provide BLA is granted by CBER.

Hours used to pass when we patiently conducted the protocol, sometimes wake up at 2:00 in the night to ensure the continuity. And when the thesis is published and rolled out it gave immense sense of fulfillment like butterflies in the tummy.

Humans no longer needed pills or medicines. Karyotype, sequence the genome & correct the defective ones. Its more like a takeaway order delivered at huge costs since it was the beginning. Corporates were already vying for the different varieties of this rDNA technology edits. Bits and pieces were invented at low costs during the c-19 Ag due to high demand at low costs. But since the buying costs are so high and selling rate is so low there is not much business in this area.

Transgenic technology was first dented when people around the world were mass vaccinated with Moderna, Pfizer, Covaxin. It was the major shift pharmaceutical and genetics had first witnessed after which the valuation of companies shot up like never before. Governments were wary of this shift and wanted to make it work as they signed up contract deals to keep the spread undeterred because they were generating huge profits for MNCs. Funds started flowing to the genetic engineering laboratories to invent new strains of virus & cure for them simultaneously.

By the time anyone realised genetics had transitioned into a golden age or shall we say darkest times but then useful in a way.

People's lives were enriched with gene therapy as the costs involved went down considerably. AI was taking equally important role in all the progress . Humanoids took over complicated jobs in which minute observations were required. They were programmed with specific protocols needed, boom .

Children with better intelligence, looks and wits were produced with molecular genetics. The ethical standards of issues like eugenics became a matter of contention. Films like GATTACA reminded me of the flawless imperfections mankind can't deny and the perfection a human can achieve with the right set of genes.

Dibs on progeny were seldom taken as fertility rates fell back also many people started opting for artificial womb rather than surrogates.

   A new era ushered,

   A dawn with no dusk,

   About time ,

People lived in bounty of their

exalted standards.
