Not everybody gets a happy ending

Look at her standing at the corner

And watching them share glances

What was hers once now the others

It was like a dragger stuck in her heart

That kept on and kept on

Bleeding on her

She was promised, eternal love

She was promised a beautiful life 

She was promised a baby out of all

And now when she stands there and sums up all of his lies

She feels hurt

She wants to feel safe

Yes, she is strong her mom told her that

She's the strongest woman any of yall will see

She was a brave one since birth,

So she has to pick her self up again

She was happy for him
