This is a story of two girls Riya and Isha. Isha was a very beautiful girl and Riya’s looks were average. Both the girls were good at studies. Isha's parents use to take care of their daughter at their extreme level. They were always back of her and whenever they get time to sit with their daughter. They use to give her lots and lots of instructions and teach them various methods of how she can be the best in all the corners of her life but Isha was not taking their instructions seriously and she was feeling pressurized. Isha’s parents were having so much expectation from her but they never allow Isha to develop her own thinking and cognitive skills to perform in her life whereas Riya’s parents were her best friends they were having the habit of guiding their daughter but not imposing their desire on her They gave her freedom so she can think and develop her cognitive skills to perform in her book of life. One day both the girls performed in one of the college-level competitions. Isha’s parents were having so many expectations from her that their daughter is going to get selected in the competition, On the other hand, Riya’s parents were very cooperative. They motivated Riya by saying that “ Participation in any of the competition with zeal and enthusiasm is important rather than winning “

Her father said, “ Riya When you are participating in any competition of your life put your best efforts into your performance and forget about the result once your part is over".

One month was passed Isha’s parents were eagerly waiting for the competition’s results, on the other hand, Riya parents motivated Riya to involve herself in other productive activities. After one-month results were announced. Results were not in favor of Isha but Riya got selected.

Now Riya was in limelight media people reached their home to congratulate her on her success at the time of movement Isha’s parents were also there. Isha ‘s father poses the question to Riya’s father

We also provided everything and instructed our daughter every time but “Why she could not clear the competition?” then Riya’s father replied that “ You gave her everything including your instructions but you lacked in becoming your daughters best friends then Isha’s father was having tears in his eyes and said to Riya’s parents “You are really supporting parents”

Moral: Be your children’s best friends and give them space to develop their own thinking
