The Happy Ending

''You will not cycle from tomorrow, your heart cannot take it baba", shouted Piku. "I really enjoyed cycling, Piku and I had a very clear motion, the best", said a satisfied Bhaskor Banerji. "No cycling from tomorrow, baba", said Piku and left the room.

The next day.....................

"Piku.........O. Piku....open the door", said Kaku. "Hm...Kaku...What happened?", said the sleepy Piku. "Actually, the brother had fainted, I have called our home physician". Piku rushed upstairs and saw her father rest. She sat beside him with teary eyes. "Actually, he could not bear so much of hectic journey... traveling Delhi to Kolkata by car and then cycling 25 kilometer...too much for this age", said the doctor to Piku in a low tone. "Is he absolutely fine now?", curiously asked Bhaskor Banerji's brother. "Yes, he is out of danger, I have prescribed some medicines and he needs rest", the doctor. "Thank you, doctor, thank you for being at a time", said Piku in a shaky voice. 

After the old man woke up, he summoned Piku. "How are you feeling, baba..? "Fine, Piku", replied Bhaskor Banerji in an unperturbed voice. "Sit, Piku...sit.., come", said her father. "Ki hoyeche, baba?", said Piku with a smile on her face. "What, I will be saying is very important...Listen to Piku...You have sacrificed for me a lot. You always thought about my happiness and never about yours" "Why are you saying this Baba....take rest, we will talk later, said Piku. "No Piku, listen to me carefully, You and Syed get married, I want to see you happily settled before I go", said Mr. Banerji. "No, baba, I am happy...you don't have to worry so... Before she could finish, her father said, "I will talk to Syed today itself". 

The wedding preparations began and it was decided that they both would get married in Kolkata only.
