The Quiet Murder

1:00 in the morning and I wasn't asleep. I knew no matter how hard I try I won't be able to sleep. This happened daily. For the past few days, I have been disturbed, mentally. after my father's death, the only person that was there to support me and take care of me was my mom. She loved me but sadly she died last month. and I am most disturbed about the thing that no one knows how she died. she was found dead in her room in the dawn of morning sharp 4 o'clock. All I have left of her is her memories. but let's not make this emotional. I got up, drank a cup of hot water and sat in front of my T.V staring at its black screen.

I was deep in my thoughts. I didn't even notice that my phone was ringing in my room. My roommate and also my sister London shouted "Jeni, your phone is ringing and it's ruining my precious sleep so come in here and pick it up or I'll throw it off the balcony." I didn't hear anything she said as I was deep deep drowning in my thoughts. She came stomping out of her room and handed me my phone but I still sat their eyes wide opened staring at nothing. When London looked at me, her face filled with worry. She asked "Everything Fine, Jeni ?" I hugged her tightly and said "I can't sleep I can't eat I can't even move without thinking of Mom, and now I have to live my whole life without her. how will I manage all of this on my own?

Pay the rent of this house, continue with my studies and focus on my exams at the same time. I have so much to do, what if I mess up? I can't do this alone, I can't do this... do this without mom." London put her hand in my hair and scratched them like mom did. "You think I don't miss her. I am even more scared than you are. but I can't do anything about it, can I? And so Can't you so stop worrying about all this silly stuff. You are not alone in this, we are in this together, just focus on your studies and your exams. Okay ?"
