Once there lived a king and a queen who had a daughter, so to have a son they performed various religious rituals, and went on fasting and visited all the temples, and sought many blessings from the Gods but they were in vain and gave birth to a girl. The king and the queen were very sad.

One day the king was sitting in the balcony of his palace, a thought came to his mind why not we decide to take our two princesses to the sage to get the best education? Then he discussed with the queen and she agreed and then the king took both the princess to the sage. The sage happily agreed to teach the princess.

Under the guidance and teachings of the sage, the two princesses turned out to be a very good and obedient student. After their education, they took blessings from their beloved teacher the sage and went to study for the further higher education.

The king was very happy and asked the sage to pay the fees he has to give in turn for the sage's love, care and guidance. The sage took his fees and built a small school to teach for other students.  

After a few years, the princesses returned from studying higher studies and was not only well versed in studies but also was skilled in archery and the use of sword and they came to meet sage and were surprised to see a school and were very happy. 

After reaching home, the princess informed their father the king about the school and thought to visit the sage's school and was happy to see the school and rewarded for the sage.

After a few years, suddenly the neighbouring Kingdom came to fight the war and the king was surprised and informed his soldiers to fight in the war. The king was wise and he made prior preparations for any emergency situation like this, his army was small compared to the neighbouring Kingdom, but his soldiers fought bravely and took few days to win the battle.

After a few days, due to injuries sustained in the war, the king felt helpless. The two princess saw the king's struggle for the city and came to field and fought with the neighbouring Kingdom and soon had the upper hand. 

The king of the neighbouring Kingdom invaded the army and now all alone he had time to think why he wazed and devasted a happy and prosperous Kingdom and was surprised to see two princesses who fought for the Kingdom and made his father the king proud. 

The king was very proud to see his two princesses who struggled for Kingdom and was impressed on them. The people in his kingdom were also happy to see the princess fight for the kingdom. The king rewarded both the princess and as the thought of retiring came to the king's mind he appointed his elder princess a new successor for his throne and rule the kingdom.


The moral of the story: "Girls are not less than boys in any way"
