Half Goddess Half Hell
Half Goddess Half Hell
You’re drawn to her,
Her ethereal beauty and wide eyes.
The white of her dress,
And the halo above her head.
You adore her manners,
She keeps your darkness at bay,
You’re scared of tainting the angel,
And so you try to stay away.
She screams for you to be near,
And you don’t go.
You tell her you love her,
But that isn’t the truth.
You love what you see:
The ethereal beauty and the wide eyes,
The white dress and halo above her head.
You refuse to see her black lace,
The tattoo on her back.
You don’t notice the scar on her ankle,
And the demons that lurk inside.
She sighs when it ends,
The same dilemma in her head
Should she scare you as an angel,
Or make you hate her as hell.
