From The Heart Of A Writer
From The Heart Of A Writer
A supernova of tangled thoughts,
A stream of flowing emotions.
Of all the battles that I've fought,
And all my considerable notions.
I paint the paper with the words that I spill,
I feed my soul with the ballads I compose.
Sometimes, I too have a gap to fill,
The drug of rhymes is my daily dose.
I love it when my pen cuts through my senses,
Revealing the light of the darkness in my mind.
Just like water dancing around the trenches,
Uncanny, of a different kind.
The ink drowning in the colours of past reminisce,
Heals the bruises of my bad times.
All I wish before my senescence,
Is my rhymes to become eternal chimes.
