When Memories Rain On The Roof
When Memories Rain On The Roof
Still,
On the roof
When I was alone this afternoon
Standing under the grey coloured sky
Full of clouds,
I became forgetful of the thunders.
In the distant, I could hear
The screaming of the children
In the field.
Unlike me they were free
With the wings spread.
My plants, blooming with flowers
Giving me strength,
Handing me over happy memories
Scattering their perfume all across me,
Loved me
Like they used to love you,
Maybe they still do.
Probably that's why I could feel them
Their petals, afresh in front of your photo.
It's raining outside and
They still love you, maybe
More than me.
