I Am A Prisoner Of My Own
I Am A Prisoner Of My Own
I am now a prisoner in the sea of emotions
The moon captured me
But the stars were the guide to where I was.
As the night sky's tinted windows hardly allowed room to breathe.
I suffocated in melancholy.
I'm imprisoned in my mind
Don't know how to think,
Don't know how to write,
Feel many things
But unable to describe
I'm trapped I'm cold
The walls don't even speak to me no more
The silence, the only sound is my own breath
Through freedom don't ease my mind
I'm two different people but one of a kind
Release me let my spirit run free
Ease this burden from me.
