Aim The Target
Aim The Target
Here and there, the arrows lay
On the ground, useless
As my efforts in achieving
My only goal remained unfulfilled.
Again and again, I tried
To hit the bull's eye
At least once, before I give up
Or move on to sulk in a corner.
Just when I decided to let go
The breeze whispered, to aim once more;
Squaring my shoulders, I shot the arrow
Eyes widening in wonder as it struck the target.
