Somewhere In The Crowd
Somewhere In The Crowd
We both were alone
In our ways,
You were lost in the crowd
And I was confined by the walls of isolation.
We always had an unruly attraction
Towards each other,
But before reaching our hearts
It lost in our crowd of
Unknown faces and loneliness.
Our ocean-like eyes met,
Like always our lips curled into
A disguised smile
And then we looked away to where
The sun meets the horizon.
Because we are holding each other
Like a dream,
Once our eyes meet the dazzling sunlight,
In the end, all we remember is that
We were just a part of our lucid dreams.
Somewhere in the crowd,
You wanted to offer me a hand
And I wanted to embrace your aching heart.
Somewhere in the crowd,
You wanted to break my walls
And I wanted to take you far away
From your crowd of clouds.
Somewhere in the crowd,
We both wanted to become
Each other's tear,
We both wanted to love each other.
But in the end,
All we chose was to get lost
Somewhere in the crowd.
