Mozilla and Jungli
Mozilla and Jungli
Once there was a forest,
On the fringes of which
Lived a couple,
who were conservationists.
They had a daughter
Whom they named Jungli.
Jungli grew with the forest.
Nature was her teacher.
Birds, bees, plants and animals
Her constant companions.
Her parents schooled her
In life as a human too.
She learnt languages from both
Her parents and that of the computer.
She read the Jungle Book
Of Mogli and the
'Bear’ necessities.
For her it was the
La la land
Of the Gorilla,
Whom she named Mozilla.
Mozilla taught her
the language of the Jungle.
She in turn
with the animals, learnt to mingle.
As things stood the tale was not fairy.
Slowly and steadily it became scary.
Forests dwindled.
Earth swindled,
by the greedy
and the mighty.
For Mozilla a place was found in the Jungle Safari.
For Jungli a place was found in the urban jungle.
This simple parable, of the Mozilla and the Jungli
a metaphor for the human and the forest.
Without forest, the human became inhuman.
