This story reveals the struggle of the orphaned children because of useless father who destroyed their lives in a fight. Father is an alcohol addicted person and mother is a hard worker but a sick woman struggles to live her life

This novel does not involve many characters. Let us go to the story tomorrow. It is a 7-day story consisting of 7 parts.

Chapter 1

It was the day when my girlfriend called me to meet. "Vishnu, can you come and meet me I have an important thing to share with you". "Yes, I will come and meet you. Tell me the venue and time," said Vishnu. She shared the venue and the time with Vishnu.

The place was Bannerghata National park and the time when she told was around 10 am.

Vishnu was startled and was wondering about the reason she called me. He had to deal with my patients at my clinic.

Vishnu came to the park at 9:50 am. but She came very late. She came at 10:20 am." Hello, Vishnu, sorry for being late". "Yes, tell me Subha. How are you? Till now we didn't meet after completing our college right?". Yes, Vishnu.

Subha bought a cup of tea in the nearby cafe. And she told Vishnu to come along with her to visit the park. The park looked very beautiful. They visited all the places and enjoyed each and every animal especially the crocodile. They also visited the butterfly park and then to the auditorium where they were shown the video of the importance of wildlife. And methods to conserve. Finally requested all the people in the auditorium to plant trees. They were given some awareness about the conservation of wildlife. Then, they both went boating through the rowboat. Subha thought it was a time to propose her love to me.

When the boat started, she said ' I like to tell you something. Vishnu said' yes Subha tell'. Subha proposed her love to Vishnu. I would like to marry you.

He was startled at that moment. The astonishment made me silent and shocked. What..... ? You are going to marry me. Subha said''yes Vishnu''. I like your gentle behaviour. Subha, you can see my hands, wrist and a bit of wound on my cheek right? It looks horrible. Then how you got the mind to marry me?

Subha said ' your generosity as I said you before made my mind to marry you '. Vishnu said 'do your parents are ok with the decision '?

Subha said ' actually I lost my mother at my early hood and I am the only daughter to my parents. She got cardiac arrest and died at the age of 10. My father is the one who takes a lot of care. Oh sorry said Vishnu. That's ok said Subha. My father is ready to accept my proposal.

Why you are shocked? Asked Subha.

No, not like that. Said Vishnu.

Subha saw my face. The face looked dull and was thinking about something.

What are you thinking about, yeah? Are you thinking about whether your parents will be against or support our decision?

He started to cry. As boating completed she took him to sit in the garden area where they can have lunch." Why are you crying? Did I ask you anything wrong? Will your parents decline our marriage?"

She shared the food with me. " My parents are dead during 9th grade". What...? Subha got shocked. What ?... How did you manage to bring yourself up?.. did your relatives help you?

No, said in a low pitched voice by Vishnu." I will share my past life with you. Till now I have never shared it with everyone."

Subha, said ok...

Chapter 2

Vishnu: We were wealthy. Wealthy means that we had sufficient money and lands. My mother named Charumathy worked as a professor in a government college. My father Nithin worked as a clerk in a government office. We were living along with my grandmother.

Meanwhile, Subha told Vishnu "have some biscuits". She gave him the biscuits.

Vishnu started his conversation.

Vishnu: My father is an alcohol addicted person. Whenever he finishes work, he goes to the bar and consumes alcohol.

We had fight daily. The fight was between my parents.

Subha: Sorry,...

Vishnu: ok. On the day of inspection in my father's office, he drank and had a fight with the guest. The guest was shocked and at the same time got exasperated towards my father. The situation further intensified. My father slapped the manager. The manager slapped my father and suspended him for 1 year. In between the suspension, he got dismissed. Luckily, the news wasn't come out.

I had a sister too. I took good of her because my mother was a heart patient. So for six months, he didn't go for jobs. I went to him and spoke daily for asking him to stop drinking as it would lead to circhosis. He consistently neglected my words. It came the time when he started hitting me and my sister. But he had some affection for my sister but not for me. I liked my mother very much. But he tortures my mom a lot. My grandma being aged felt sad for having such a son.

One day, my grandma stopped the fight between my mother and my father. But my grandma got slapped by my father. She cried a lot and sat aside.

During that time I was studying 10th which was very crucial. Many woeful things happened at that time in my home. My mother got a heart attack on the premises of the college for the 3rd time. Everyone surrounded there took her to the hospital. I have received a call that my mother was admitted to the hospital. The best part was that my teacher took me to the hospital. She was admitted to the ICU. The doctor asked me and my sister to get in. I asked, " doctor, how is my mother's condition?". The doctor said" I am sorry to say she can't tolerate it anymore. I was frozen and was shocked. "She wanted to have a few words with you people". Tears started coming from my eyes, with uncontrollable tears!

we both went into the room. My mother called me and Bharathy (my sister). She hugged and kissed us both and asked sorry for leaving us soon. "Take care of your sister and your grandmother " your father is not all a good character. You should fight and you both have the right to live your life. Remember it".

Passed away. We both cried a lot. Though my father cried at once and turned to normalcy. I got low BP and got dizziness and fell down in the hospital. My sister Bharathy called the doctor. She checked me and gave me a cup of salted lemon juice. After that, I got up and sat.

After the rituals, we came to accept the death of my mother. I came to know the real character of my father. After that all benefits from the government that he received made him more rude and rough. He closed the loan of the banks cleverly but never bothered about our studies and my grandma. He forced us to go to work instead of wasting the time by studying. I didn't argue at that time. I silently gave a cheque to my school. They took off the money and he didn't even know that money has been debited. He used the benefits to buy luxury items and things like car. He didn't even bother about us and at least about my mother who was dead. Then came the time when my father got in love and remarried. That Time, I decided not to see his face. I had a problem with that lady, though I respected her, she pretended to me as if not respecting me in front of my Father. Every day I got hit by him. The only person who stood for us was my grandmother. All these happened during my vacation after my board exams.

Then came the day to see my 10th board results. I got 468/500. I liked to select a bio group so that I can prepare for AIPMT. This was the most difficult and unexpected turning point of life when I had to discontinue my studies.

Subha: discontinue...? But why?

Chapter 3

Vishnu: yes, Subha I had to discontinue my studies. During that time so-called stepmother became more aggressive and greedy. She had the mindset that all the property will next be owned by me after my father. So she became clever and pretended I was wrong. She acted as if she didn't know anything that is innocent. A day came when I got injured severely.

My step mother said," you lost, now he is in my control, you cannot make he understand that I'll control ".

I said " my dear stepmother I'll never give up and will fight for anything, you see I connected my call to the father he is listening silently. on hearing, my stepmother got shocked. My father feels betrayed as his lover wanted to steal everything from him. He wanted to take revenge for betrayal. He bought the kerosene cane and reached the home. He then poured it onto my stepmother and to himself it was night. At that time everyone where sleeping. I suddenly heard the sound from the room. Everyone went and saw it there. Dad and stepmother are burning in that room and the room is also burning. I immediately took a bucket of sand and water and threw it on them. While throwing those things the kerosene bottle which was opened poured on my hand and a bit in my cheek and the chain of burning continue. I called Bharathy and asked her to bring the sand and water. They were dead while my hands were burning she threw water on my face and hands and covered my hands with banana leaf

Chapter 4

Subha: Why did he buy the kerosene cane ?. Nowadays these incidents are becoming terrific.

Vishnu: He was unable to accept the betrayal and felt guilty for his rubbish behaviour. So he committed suicide. Then I was admitted to the hospital and was saved from danger. But the doctor said to me not to do any work for the next 3 months and should not touch watery items. I was shocked. Even the final rituals I did at my own risk. Police came and investigated the room and finally declared it as a suicide and murder attempt as he killed the stepmother.

For the three months, I was taken care of by my sister. My grandma being aged died in the fourth month. After the death of my grandma. We felt very insecure. Moneylenders were torturing us a lot by abusing us with filthy words and by hitting me. Finally, we settled everything by my father's benefits and selling the house. We received our mother's pension of 12000. We had 2 lakh after settling off everything. We both decided to go to Bangalore for studies, as we never wanted to go to our relatives who never supported us. We shifted to 'Whitefield' in Bangalore and started to live our lives in an orphanage.

So-called emancipation is valid after 18. But I was 16 yrs at that time. So we needed a guardian. After several rejections of application forms, a school accepted our admission because of the orphanage head who explained our situation. My sister was studying 7th at that time. These two years went smoothly and finally, my sister Bharathy entered 10th grade and I got selected by AIPMT and grabbed a government seat in Bangalore luckily. But between the AIPMT exam and counselling. We had to face a problem. Those barbarous

The moneylender somehow managed to find our residence and did turbulence and blackmailed me to give interest for these two years of rupees 1,20000.

I asked him" but I paid everything in lumpsum then how do you expect to give the interest, what you people are doing is called arrogance!". He slapped me and turned back. He was talking to his group. Finally, police arrived there and arrested him. I told them again a smartphone proved their smartness. Yeah  I called the number '100' I am not a fool to get cheated by you. He said," I'll not leave you, I'll let you know whom you are fighting I neglected his words ".Orphanage people requested us to leave from the orphanage as they want to provide peace to other children. So I attained 18 years. So, I can take care of my sister and myself. We took a house for rent which was very costly that is for rupees 9000 and a deposit of a lakh. So I had to do some part-time job to manage the finance. So I joined as an RJ at a private FM for rupees 3000 per month. Took a loan for my sister's studies and made her study. Like this three years gone. I am sorry to tell you. I had a love during my 3rd year.

Subha. : What..... ? In our batch. who is that?

Vishnu: He said Kavitha is the one

Subha: what Kavitha the one who top marks?

Vishnu: yes. She was the one.

Subha prayed to God that their love should end up in failure.

Vishnu: But because of her I got fewer marks in that year. I stopped talking to her. One day I heard a conversation between her and his friend. That conversation contained about me. She was telling to her friend that she pretended to act like a lover in front of that fool to make him come down. But he somehow managed to get past. And further told that he is that my lover. It is you who are going to marry me she said. I was shocked.

Then came a day to slap her. Yes, I slapped in front of all and asked not to talk with me.

Subha: got relieved.

Vishnu: it becomes difficult to believe everyone easily and I have a sister. What shall I do? She just now stepping into college. I have to take care of her. So I need a few days of time Subha. I have huge respect for you. Because you were my friend and as a friend did a lot to me. I need time.

Subha: face changed into a sad mood. But I have hope that somehow he will accept my love.

Then they both left the place. Will Vishnu accept her love?

Chapter 5

After that meet, they didn't meet up again. It was about six months. It was time for Bharathy to finish her studies. She was doing engineering at NIT Trichy. She came out with flying colours. Vishnu travelled to Trichy to accompany her to Bangalore. Everyone was collecting the certificates from the dean. Finally, she got a blessing from her brother, who made her study. Then came a man and talked to his sister.

Venkat: Hi Bharathy. who is he?

Bharathy: Venkat he is my brother as I told you about him before , right.

Venkat: hello bro.

Vishnu is like who is he

Vishnu: hello, Bharathy who is he

Bharathy: Brother I want to talk to you

Venkat. : Yeah bro, I would like to talk to you personally

Vishnu: let's go and have some coffee in a cafe

Vishnu looked dull. His mind is full of confusion

Vishnu: bring 3 cups of coffee, please

Servant: certainly sir.

Vishnu: yeah, you both tell. What did you want to share with me?

Bharathy and Venkat said in chorus, Brother, we both want to marry.

Vishnu is joking at that time. Vishnu was worried about whether he is honest in his words

Vishnu: yeah, sister I'll see you a groom and Venkat, you ask your parents for the bride.

They both looked more serious. And were looking stressed.

Vishnu: ok I accept your marriage.

Meanwhile, they became happy.

Vishnu: with one condition!

Venkat: I'll take good care of your sister bro, so need to worry. She told me about her family many times.

Vishnu: that ok dude. But One more condition.

Both in chorus with an exclamation what is that!

Vishnu: I did the mistake of falling in love with a girl who was the reason for my marginal marks. What I did was wrong. A student goes to school and college only for studying not for things like falling in love (relationship), ragging, forming groups bullying, etc. College is not for that. College is the gate that decides our career. I want you both to start earning. At least if you both get 1st-month salary I'll accept your marriage. Understood now?

Venkat: sure bro. Your sister is gifted to get a brother like you

Vishnu : one request dude. Take care of my sister. We were brought without parents. It is the saddest thing in our life. So, please.

Venkat: sure bro. I'll take care.

Meanwhile, Vishnu got the call, again the same call. He rejected the call. It was none other than Subha.

Then they both went to their hostel to empty their rooms. So they all three travelling to their natives

Vishnu: Venkat , your native is in Bangalore I never expected this.

Venkat: yes bro, actually our native in Coimbatore. But many fathers got the job in IT company at Bangalore. so we settled there.

Vishnu: oh

Meanwhile, Subha called him through the other number without knowing it he attended the call

Vishnu: Yes

Subha: stupid Vishnu. Calling you for a long while. But you didn't attend the call. I'll never call you. I hate you to the core.

She cut the call. Vishnu thought even after telling his past still is adamant to marry me. 

Vishnu (in mind): It is my mistake not to believe her. Let me go to her house and buy a bouquet for her and express myself.

It was morning 7 am all the three arrived at Bangalore. Venkat went to his house

Vishnu took bath and prepared himself to surprise Subha and bought a bouquet too. Meanwhile, she was not in her house. But in the entrance, they mentioned the address of the Mahal for attending the marriage. He got shocked and immediately went there.

Meanwhile, Subha's feeling full of Vishnu. She still hopes that he will come and propose his love.

Meanwhile, a priest called the bride and groom to sit in front yagna. The priest started pronouncing the mantra. Stop Subha came to a voice.

Vishnu finally proposed his love.

Vishnu: if your loving me accept the bouquet and I'll marry you

Subha with joyous tears ran and hugged him thereby accepting his love.

Then came the Venkat.

Vishnu: dude what are you doing here?

Venkat: hey surprised to see you in my sister's marriage

Oh, you are the sister but she told that she don't have any brother and sister.

Subha: actually he is my father's brother's son

Vishnu: oh nice. Let us marry Subha without any further delay.

Before that, they were seeking permission from Subha's father. He said, "my daughter's happiness is my happiness".

Finally, Subha and Vishnu sat in that place while the groom came out with anger and his relatives too.

Chapter 6

After their marriage, his sister and Venkat married after 6months from their marriage. It was 2016. December. After the marriage, Vishnu and his wife Subha got a government job as a doctor at a government hospital. It is lucky that a husband and wife working at the same place for the same profession. After that, they both bought a house of their own , where the couples can live happily along with Vishnu's father in law, his sister and brother-in-law. Then on a fine day, they kept the 'House warming ' function on 12th May 2017 in the early morning at 4 am. Everyone Vishnu, his wife, Subha's father, Venkat , Bharathy and Venkat's parents were arrived ready and the priest arrived along with the cow which is Divine and Made to enter into the house. Priest after finishing the yajna blessed the couples to live happily.

After finishing, everyone went to have their breakfast and everyone were affectionate with each other.

After finishing their breakfast, instead of making grand, they made it simple within their family members. The couples went to the orphanage and donated the lumpsum amount of Rupees 1 lakh and bought few dresses and sweet for the children. As Vishnu suffered a lot as an orphan we don't want others to suffer that pain. So, he and his wife Subha planned to adopt a child. They discussed it with their family members

Vishnu: uncle, I would like to adopt a child

Father in law: my son, that's good. But you have to analyze the circumstances

Vishnu: circumstances??

Father in law: yes, for adopting you have to complete at least two years of married life and the child should seek happiness from the parents which is a major difficult task.

Vishnu: oh two years. Then we have to wait.

Father in law: After adoption court will ask for status representing the child's behaviour. These formalities are done to secure the child and make the child happier and comfortable. But that is a very difficult task. Instead of doing this formality you can donate some money and buy dresses and sweets as you did today forever.

Vishnu: yes uncle, you are right. Making the child happy is a great task.

Subha: it is time for us to go to the hospital Vishnu

Vishnu: oh yes,

Subha and Vishnu went to the hospital.

After 2 years his sister Bharathy got pregnant and the couple was blessed with the girl child. Bharathy was working as an engineer and his husband Venkat was working as a lecturer for IIT JEE Physics. In these two years, Subha and Vishnu's relationship became even better than before. Venkat asked his sister and brother-in-law to take leave and asked them to visit a place that gives them peace. So, Subha and Vishnu planned to go on a tour for a week. Subha and Vishnu went to Shimla to enjoy the place for 3 days and to Agra for the beautiful scenery of Taj Mahal and then bought few gifts for their family members.

After few months Subha's pregnancy was confirmed. It was a very worst time as everyone had to sit at home due to covid. Subha, despite pregnancy continued to work for hours in the covid ward along with Vishnu. It came the time for labour pain. Subha delivered a healthy boy child. Vishnu came and hugged the two. Subha and Vishnu took measures to prevent them from covid. They used their mind and gave awareness of preventive measure about covid. They moreover illustrated the struggle of Doctors, Nurses, Police and the Military. They requested not to come out of their residence except for emergency cases. They told to wear mask especially surgical mask, use hand wash or sanitiser frequently, maintain a 1m gap of social distance. They also illustrated the consequences after the death of the covid patient. People became aware and started to follow the rules to prevent Corona.

Despite doing all the goodness what did they harvest. One day, the couple as usual was travelling to the hospital but they didn't reach. Because they met with the accident, the truck came fast and hits the vehicle severely. The truck was none other than the moneylender who wanted to kill him. The reason was that Vishnu's mother slapped him for verbally abusing her in front of the public and filed a complaint to the police who immediately took the action. As Vishnu and his sister went to Bangalore they both remained safe for those two years. During the first time, Vishnu escaped as he called the police. This issue further made this money lender kill him. But police surrounded there arrested him immediately as he was one of the criminals. The police called the ambulance and immediately admitted the couple to the hospital.

Chapter 7

Venkat, Bharathy and Vishnu's uncle cried a lot

Venkat: God pls save them. They did a lot why are you still punishing him. He suffered a lot. Now I don't want his son to suffer the same.

Everyone was crying. Meanwhile, Doctor came out

Bharathy: what happened doctor?

Doctor: sorry, Venkat(with tears) chances of surviving is very less. You can have a few words with them, brain is hit worst.

Venkat, Bharathy, Vishnu's uncle started crying. They all went to ICU

Vishnu: My last wish. Will you do it for me

Venkat: Yes. But don't say it as a last wish. It is hurting us

Vishnu: I lost my parents became an orphan. I wish that should not happen to my child. Can you both of you take the responsibility of being mother and father? He should not know that he is an orphan.

Subha: yes Venkat. He should not realise that pain.

Bharathy: yes Vishnu, yes...(with tears)

Vishnu and Subha bid goodbye and died at the same moment.

Venkat and Bharathy took their child both of them hugged and kissed the child. Venkat said, "You are our son from now ". Uncle cried a lot

So, all were crying including the doctors and they said that they are 'warriors'. The man who hit the couple was given a death sentence for his filthy behaviour.

Finally, rituals were completed and Venkat and Bharathy took more care of their Vishnu's child than their child.

The parents should take immense care of their children. Alcohol is the one that spoils health, wealth, happiness and family. So alcoholism should be controlled. The one who uses the brain reaches further despite physically Fighting. About 10-15 per cent of alcohol users are considered moderate to heavy drinkers. To reduce the alcohol have some healthy drinks like health mix, raagi malt which is very good for health. Don't fight with your life partner which psychologically causes the mental health of children. Being an orphan is a great pain than the other. So, make your children feel happy and the couple stay happy.
