Incomplete love

The story is about a girl named Saina, a depressed soul lost in her own world with a smile on her lips and ocean of secrets in her eyes who used to be carefree, fearless, funloving and tomboy stuff girl before something happened that changed her completely.

5 years have passed by and she was still trying to figure out the reason why the boy she used to think was her soulmate left her in the middle of nowhere.

Those five years were like hell to her, she cried herself to sleep every night. Only her pillow knew that the girl who is the strongest in her circle is only strong at hiding her tears from all.

How could she even digest, the boy who used to love her since grade 6th turns out to be like this.

Yes, he was her childhood love although she realized it once he left.

They never dated each other even for a day but still, there was a something that couldn't be explained.

School got over, the college started, they started hanging out and conversations started getting deep, butterflies started roaming in the stomach.

21 January 2011 

The day came for which maybe they both were waiting. He called her to meet her at some shopping mall which was near her college. He proposed with full passion holding her hands in his hands, she asked for the time as she wasn't ready. What was her fault she was a family-oriented kid that time.

He waited for a week for her yes but when she didn't reply he moved on with some other girl. Maybe it wasn't love from his side that he used to claim. Maybe it was just more than liking for him.

The day she came to know about his relationship the real struggle started. As a normal teenager, she thought it was the end of life, funny though, but yes she thought like that. She went into depression. she ruined herself physically, mentally and emotionally. She lost almost 15 kgs though she used to be a Chubby girl. She lost her beautiful hair due to all this stress. She used to hit hand hard on the wall leading to weak muscles and shivering hands. She lost contact with the outside world. She left her friends. She almost failed her first year of graduation. She was just like a soulless body. The surprising thing about this was nobody knew what's going on with her even her family, her sister except her best friend who was stuck to her like a termite in every situation and kept guiding her.

If she wouldn't have been there God knows what would have happened to her.

That prolonged depression and sleepless nights gave the severe headache that made her meet a hypnotherapist who cured her headache and insomnia but couldn't take him out of her heart.

The years passed by, her graduation completed. She wanted to run away from the city from the people around. So she decided to go to another city for further studies. She worked hard for that, she cracked the exam and went for the interview and to her good luck, she cleared it too. She got the admission.

But destiny had held something else for her, somehow his dad and her friend convinced her not to go there and face the situation staying here as her friend knew that she was just trying to escape from the situation. And that's not the way to live. She said - Saina you will take your mind along and that's where the problem is. She understood and quit.

Beyond Blues

So she started her further studies in her town only. Along with that, she joined some designing course in the nearby institute.

She started her course with the same lost attitude. It was all going fine. One day a young man named Gautam Bhadana joined the same institute with 2 of his friends for some other course. He was a black dart on his community as he doesn't seem to be a Gujjar. He seems to be a Punjabi.

The social butterfly had become so reserved that she didn't notice the guy.

Both were poles apart in their streams, one plays with the machines and other with wood but to their luck or you can say her luck the basic of their course was similar so they were taught together.

One day their teacher wanted to share something via Bluetooth the moment she switched on her Bluetooth her name with her surname flashed in the panel "Saina Malhotra".

The boy noted the name and searched her on Facebook. Next day he came with the notes ready about her and initiated the conversation. The conversation was the turning point in her life. She didn't know when the boy fell for her. They used to talk over messenger whole day.

She tried to avoid him as she didn't want to get into mess again but the karma had something else for her.

She ignored him but the guy had already read her eyes and figured out that she was going through something painful, her smile was fake, her being busy attitude was just an escape for her. He kept on trying and then the numbers were exchanged taking them one step ahead. He used to wait for her downstairs without making her notice that it was for her. He used to peep at her from that black screen of his laptop. His obsession was on fire. And one day she had an emotional break down in front of him, what actually he was waiting for. He hugged her and said don't worry, I am here for you. She got scared she asked him to stay away. She was a stubborn bitch. He didn't lose hope. She had fallen for him but she wasn't ready to accept that. Months passed by. Their friendship got deeper.

He started dropping hints that he likes her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But she stood strong and ignored her feelings.

A beautiful unsaid relation was going on between the two. He used to wake her up for the class daily.

10 July 2015

She went for some business meeting, he insisted her to let him pick her up on her way back. After so many nos she said yes, come. They went for the drive. It was for the first time she went for a drive with a known stranger.

It was the most beautiful drive she ever had. It was raining so heavily outside and there was silence between the two with the song playing in the background..

"Bin kuch kahe bin kuch sune hathon mein hath lie 

Char kadam bs 4 kadam chal do na sath mere"

She felt for the first time that the songs can be real.

19 July 2015 

It was his birthday, he wanted to be wished by her first. He insisted her to please come to show her face at least to which she agreed. They met at Dominos. It was bit awkward kind off date. Again both were silent. He thanked her for coming. This made his day and hers too but she didn't admit.

29 July 2015, 

That morning the phone rang she thought it was a usual morning call from him to wake her up but to her surprise, the voice came "mjhe lag ra h I am in love" to which she asked "kisse" he replied "tjhse" she was awestruck. Then he said, Saina I love you and I mean it. And please don't take me wrong I am not asking for any answer. It's just that I feel it so I said, you are not bound to say I love you too neither I am expecting anything else. Although Saina heard it clearly but she requested him to repeat because those words were so soothing that they have touched the strings of her heart. That "I love you" went to the heart directly from the ears.

Days passed the good morning and I love you rituals in the morning continued from his side and answer to which remains good morning from her side.

9 August 2015, 

That was a new morning this time her answer changed to "Good morning and yes I love you too". He was so happy that day. He asked her out for the date. They went to a restaurant which turns out to be the same restaurant coincidentally where she went with the guy who ate her 5 bloody years. Same place same girl but this time different guy. He proposed to her looking straight into her eyes and she said yes. His second line was you can think again Saina because I will not let you go after this. She with teary eyes said yes I am sure I want this. And hugged him tightly. He placed a kiss on her forehead. It was like a fairy tale for her. It seems like someone has put the soul back into her body. She started living the way she used to live. She was on cloud nine. He was the man she was not waiting for. He was just beyond perfect, who could understand her silence.

The Real Battle

After dating for almost 3 years they decided to make it official.

The battle started, the cultural issues started dancing at the highest beats. The relatives started poking their nose into the matter. The girl father was such a gentleman he clearly declared that I am getting my daughter rokafied with this guy, she knows him and love him and I love her, so no suggestions from anyone if anyone has a problem they are most welcome not to attend the ceremony. On the other hand guy's father although from the rigid community still supported them with pure heart and said yes to their relationship while going against his family and proving to be the wisest soul as it was the first ever intercaste marriage in their family.

September 2, 2018, 

The day got fixed for their roka, the two souls were tied by a thread for the next seven lives. Both are still waiting for the marriage date to get finalised...
