Love Knows No Opposites

"Opposites attract they say."

From the very first day they met, there was some spark. Aman, a short slim guy, was simple and humble. Away from his family, he was always engrossed in his work and had a very limited friends group. On the other hand, Priya was a tall stout sweet honest girl, living with her family and surrounded by friends.

By luck, both of them shared opposite cubicles at the workplace. Starting with good mornings, they conversed with each other every day, even if for a while or with a smile.

Being in the same team, they spent hours with each other, working.

Meanwhile, they started chatting after office hours too and soon became good friends.

Everything was going well when a series of devastating incidents happened with Priya.

She had to undergo a surgery for removal of stomach tumour while her father was also not keeping well. Soon her father died out of cardiac arrest. All of these led to a silent devastated Priya who forgot to smile.

It was Aman who left no stone unturned to cheer her up for a while.

This was the time when both of them started spending more time with each other as they liked each other's company. They shared even tiniest of details with each other, cared to the extreme for each other and no misunderstanding ever was so huge to tear them apart. 

When both their families started looking for respective alliances for both of them, only then they realised that they couldn't imagine a third person in their lives and that they are meant to be together.

But when they started talking to their families, our society came into the picture where it couldn't see a tall fat girl with a short slim boy as a couple. Priya's family was so happy but Aman's family was stubborn not allowing for it.

They fought for their relationship and finally in some way his parents agreed though they weren't so happy.

But after many days of the wedding , they realised they couldn't have found a better girl. They are now blessed with a son named Ansh and daughter named Nisha and living happily ever after.

Thus, in a society where the ideal couple picturized is a tall fair handsome boy with a shorter pretty slim girl, Aman and Priya proved that love knows no bounds when feelings are honest.
