At last

You see,

I found the content.

In a place

I least expected. 


After all

This time,

I’d searched other minds

And left my own,

Neglected. 


But there it was, pure

Peace and love

Within myself,

Rejected.


Yet as I embraced

And welcomed it,

My spirit and soul 

Accepted.
