A Dreamy Day

The morning-alarm ticked a bit early,

Enchanted dawn's peeping through the pane,

Burnt cigarettes and disturbed books perfectly

Lie on the desk insane.

Getting prepared and resetting the assets

Busy hours driven by a suit charming

Plans for a meeting with the lady,

Uncomfortable by the repeatedly failed meetings.

Planning to complete the stuff-

Bill payment or buying books of poetic buffs,

Or meeting the dearest one of my own,

Someone murmured while stepping out-

'Full blackout sir! Capital Down!'

Mummified are the dreams fully grown.
