Black Lives Never Mattered
Black Lives Never Mattered
I match to light the candle
Of peace 'cause we're never handle
With the same spirit of kiss.
The same spirit of peace
Made us to be sold like pieces
It pierces my heart that history is repeating
History is repeating itself
The civil rights movement and
Apartheid, a thousand lives lost.
Their spirits still lurk in the shadow
Through the window, they're tormented
As they see the vision of what killed them.
Police brutality is a problem
An emblem they pledge on.
A fledge of hate covered by words.
Black lives never mattered
Chaining with the freedom to be muttered
Uttered truce only to be murdered.
Shackled with the illusion of equality
While they perform immorality
Calling it a change of reality.
