My life's been feeling pointless

Why does it feel so hopeless?

Where's my purpose?

That one thing which I held precious

What had I been chasing?

Was I just day-dreaming?

I remember searching for it in midst of light's beams

My precious Forgotten Dreams

I ran all the way to find it 

Not for me to quit

What was I even searching for?

Money and Fame, nor

I found my purpose of living 

I wasn't just day-dreaming 

I found my one and only purpose 

The one thing I found precious

I found the one that made me whole 

I found my heart, I found my soul

The one who made me happy was there, you see

Since it was old, happy, carefree me

I ran all the way to find it 

Not for me to quit

What was I even searching for?
