From Fear To Courage

I am a woman, a beautiful woman

I am beautified by the most eloquent God

Like a pleasing flower that always blossoms

I am exceptional like any award.

I am a woman, who met a dark fate

He grasped my neck and proposed 

On refusing the demon, I was left to be embarrassed

It was acid on my face, and I was disposed 

I am a woman, a fearful woman

Should I now hide or face the world?

How can my beauty be destroyed by a human?

No, I will stand strong and try to get justice

I am a woman a fearless woman

Indeed, my largest fear carries my greatest growth

So now I am bigger than any fear

Agony, agitation, and panic have no place in my heart

I am a woman, a brave woman

I can face my fears and conquer it

Real bravery to me is doing everything I was not taught

But experiencing and living in it every moment

I believe in forgiveness for it gives me calmness

I forgave the demon who tried to destroy my fate and face

I forgave him not for he asked forgiveness

But the peace I felt after I forgave
