A Spark of Hope
A Spark of Hope
My mind's feast never stopped
From west to east.
Here steps in sorrow
Making everything narrow.
It changed all my delights to plights and all tries to cries.
The world came to an end
No one was my friend.
Then all I saw was a tree
To lend my thoughts for free.
It fluttered its leaves in an awful glory
That's when I started my story.
Nothing was to an end, nothing was to a start
I was in the middle of a path.
Tears were shedding
Like the shedding leaves.
Just then I pulled up my sleeves
Like the new leaflets a spark of hope lifted me…
For the days of sorrow came to an end
And the tree was my best friend.
