LOVE: A DIVINE ENCOUNTER

Love is the purest of all aesthetic senses,

breeding courage and determination,

it is the divine confluence of two souls.

Love is blind yet blissful,

I wish our lives were eternal.

Hold my tender hands, and stand by my side;

give me your shoulder to rest on,

we are made for each other, 

it's a match made in heaven.

You're the elixir of my life,

I am soaked in the sea of your thoughts.

We drifted apart like a glacier,

I slipped into an abyss of trauma,

all alone I am, perturbed and confused.

Time is the best healer they said,

as I embraced positivity and love.

Love for the Almighty is the purest, I realised,

as I surrendered myself to God,

devoid of any desires and expectations.

Devotion of my soul is what all it took,

to realise that God resided within me.
