All Alone I Am !

All alone I am,

stranded in the ocean of despair,

as I yearn for a breath of fresh air.

Dejected by the harsh realities of life,

deserted by kith and kin alike,

my life is studded with gloominess,

as I strive for pleasure and happiness.

All alone I am,

cut off from the materialistic world,

I whirled and whirled and whirled,

as I embarked on a journey

in quest of bliss and tranquility.

All alone I am,

marooned on a desert island,

as I marched in search of water.

A gush of fresh air blew across my face,

making me realise that life ain't a race.

All alone I am,

parched and dry my throat is,

as I yearned for nature's kiss.

An oasis lay by the side calm and serene,

a token of love from the divine grace,

bowing my head to the supreme,

whose presence in my life is like a dream.
