MY MENTOR, MY NAIR SIR

The Noblest man whom I’ve ever met in my life, always smiling

Hiding behind the sorrows and pains, always willing…

To lend an ear and give advice even to the wise!!

Be it at sunset or sunrise…..

I shall always miss the guiding light in my life Dear Sir…

Praying to the almighty to allow the light to shine so bright…

That it helps me take away all my sorrows and be light…..

 

You are the epitome of inspiration and motivation to me, especially Sir

As I greet you every morning at school, you never turned your back, Sir….

A principled person who is so down to earth, that you can't even thinketh!!

Of a better person than you ever in this world full of greed….

Because I learnt from you to do the good deed!!

In hiding, as it always does well to you indeed!!

 

I’m finding it hard to digest the fact that I can't see you every day….

Seeing you every day used to make me feel happy and gay….

How I wish this too shall pass…..and I can see you every day amass 

Hoping this little wish of mine comes true, alas!!

 

Dear Nair Sir, Thank you for helping me hear my inner voice, 

Said that I am not a teacher by chance, it’s by choice!!

I shall always cherish your words throughout my lifetime Sir!

Only when I am a lifelong learner, will I be an avid reader…..

 

Thanking you for making me a stage speaker from out of nowhere….
