New Beginnings
New Beginnings
My baby is in his cradle, bundled up cosily
Purity reflects on his face as he sleeps peacefully
After the Sun’s first rays kiss my windowsill merrily
Sharp at six o’clock my baby wakes from sleep drowsily
His eyelids, batting once more than twice batting
Before his world comes to him focusing
Now under the blanket fluffy his tiny toes start wiggling
Followed by his arms fist-fighting with his blanket wrestling
Soon he spots me nearing
His smile full of joy comes busting
His toothless smile appearing
His sleep is now disappearing
My cooing and cajoling
His spitting and spatting
Each day my baby boy grows a tiny bit growing
This is how our lives are changing
Each day we start working together
For both me and my baby a new sun rising
Each minute we have something new to learn.
My heart is filled with joy as together we are progressing
Each day is like a very new beginning.
